Press Release on COVID-19



The City of Centeton will restrict public access to all City facilities beginning at 12PM on March 19, 2020. Access to City Buildings will be granted to City employees only with as much business as possible to be conducted online, with the efforts to slow down the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We wanted to ensure that we are doing what we can to prevent the spread of this virus. Our staff will be available for you via email and also by telephone and if needed we will be happy to meet with you by appointment only. We will evaluate the situation again on March 30th and decide if we should continue or make other modifications, in the meantime I wanted to provide the following information on our departments and also provide contact information and phone numbers and email addresses.

Animal Control Our shelter will be fully operational as usual and if we have picked up your pet please call our shelter at 479-795-0078 or email at centerton.animal.control@gmail.com and our staff will respond in a timely manner, also all of our pets for adoption are listed on our Facebook page, Centerton Animal Shelter and if interested in adopting please contact us and we will make arrangements for you to come and visit us.

Building Inspection and Permits We will operate as usual and permits will be delivered to the job site or mailed, and payments can be made online or mailed and an email has been sent to the builders with this information. If you need additional information, please email inspections@centertonar.us or call 479-795-2750 ext 23.

City Hall Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns at 479-795-2750 ext. 0 or email Shannon at szappettini@centertonar.us also if you are in need of green yard waste bags or senior trash bag program bags please call us and we will make arrangements to have them delivered to you.

Code Enforcement Will operate as usual any questions please email Johnathan jeasterling@centertonar.us or call 224-6028 for additional information.

Courts Any questions concerning fines and such please contact the District Court Clerk directly at 479-795-4431 ext. 2 or email sara@centertoncourt.com or rene@centertoncourt.com

Fire Department Is here and ready to serve you, our non-emergency number to the firehouse is 479-795-2550 if you have any questions or inquiries.

Parks and Recreation Currently the Kinyon Sports Complex is closed along with public restrooms at the sports park and the main city park.

Planning The department is operating as usual and asking we submit plans and such electronically and if you need to contact them please email planning@centertonar.us or call 479-795-2750 ext. 27

Police Department If you are in need of services such as reports please contact the Police Clerks at 479-795-4431 ext. 3 or email policeclerks@centertonpolice.com or if you need assistance from the police you can call 479-273-5532 24 hours a day for nonemergencies and call 911 in the event of a emergency.

Street Department Is fully staffed if you have any questions please feel free to contact them at 479-224-6028
