Centerton's annual Christmas parade.
Good Evening, I wanted to give a couple of updates this evening, first of all Centerton Day which is our yearly community fund raising event has been moved to September 12th this year, the events will remain the same just the date is different. The reason for the move is we have done alot of work to our park recently and we were trying to get grass to grow where the work was done, and with the large amount of rain we received, we were unable to get it to grow.
I have ordered sod for the park, but its still a few weeks behind on installing and then it takes a good 30 days to take, so we will continue working on the park and have the park ready for the new date.
Also the Annual Kids Fishing Derby held at the Fish Hatchery will be held this year on June 13th starting at 9am, and last until 1pm, kids 12 and under are allowed to participate and I will post all runes and such soon, I just wanted to get this out there since we are getting close.
Also in July the First Baptist Church of Centerton will be hosting their Annual Fireworks Display and event, as soon as I get more information I will post this. I hope everyone has a great remainder of the weekend.
Thanks Mayor Bill

PLAN PURPOSE: To develop a coordinated, voluntary program to protect and promote the region’s most valued natural landscapes and open spaces. The goal is to preserve these assets; thereby maintaining our high quality of life as the region continues to grow and prosper.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS: This will be the second round of public meetings for the project. The purpose is for project planners to hear from the public about what they value most in terms of open space, and to provide information on the project purpose, goals, scope, schedule, and input received to-date. Each meeting will feature the same information, and each will be drop-in from 4-6:30pm.
